In the game, the player controls a young boy, who must travel around the fictional world, socialising with non-player characters and should challenge them to card battles using 60-card decks. If the player defeats their opponents, then they are rewarded with booster packs, which contains an additional assorted card, and they can use it in their card decks. The player gets a total of 226 cards within the game, which holds cards from the first three sets of the real-life game, as well as private cards which are not available outside of the game.
